Dave van Rensburg Joins Pedestal Africa’s International Advisory Board

We are delighted to announce a significant addition to Pedestal Africa’s International Advisory Board – Mr. Dave van Rensburg, a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with an impressive track record spanning various sectors in several African countries.

A pioneering leader in Franchising and Advertising

A South African national, Dave’s entrepreneurial odyssey saw him establishing businesses in industries as diverse as advertising, franchising, fast-moving consumer goods, renewable energy, and hospitality in Southern and West Africa.

Dave’s visionary leadership played a pivotal role in guiding Mr. Biggs, the first food franchise in Nigeria to become a sector leader in West Africa region. Similarly, he spearheaded the entry of Global Outdoor, one of the most innovative out-of-home media companies in Africa, into West Africa.

A Trailblazer in Marketing and Renewable Energy

After his exploits in advertising and franchising, Dave moved to fast moving consumer goods, as the West Africa Marketing Director for the LaCasera beverage brand. Thereafter, Dave extended his entrepreneurial versatility into the area of sustainability, becoming co-founder of New Earth Energy, a company that has emerged as a leader in the renewables sector across five countries.

Dave’s entrepreneurial journey also led him to establish Fish Eagle Manor, a renowned resort in East London, South Africa.
